Andrea here!
This is officially my first posted post—yeah, way too many drafts I still need to sort through. Anyways, I’m excited to announce my newest project… drumroll, please…
Introducing: The Nocturne Saga
A tetralogy that spans generations, where love, loyalty, and secrets transcend time.
The journey begins with Sunrise; My Marriage to Lord Fremont—but this is just the beginning. Stay tuned for more as the saga unfolds…
By Andrea Rei/Lopez. (Still haven’t decided which name to use—feel free to help.)
“I married him for our benefit, but the truth is… he seemed to really want to love.”
My Marriage to Lord Fremont follows Lilliana, the daughter of a captured American captain during the Revolutionary War. Torn between loyalty to her father’s cause and the allure of British high society, Lilliana finds herself in an unlikely arranged marriage to Lord Fremont, putting on a show of cooperation with a nobleman who has secrets of his own.
In a tale of cheap wine, whispered promises, and fragile alliances, Lilliana must navigate the treacherous halls of British aristocracy—and convince King George III of her devotion to prosperity and her place in society.
This book is perfect for lovers of historical dramas with a sprinkle of the unknown. The first installment of the Nocturne Saga is sure to draw you in and leave you wanting more.
What to Expect:
- An ambitious young heroine playing a dangerous game
- Political maneuvering masked as social grace
- Subtle tension and charged conversations
- Lavish halls, whispered rumors, and fragile alliances
- A marriage that looks perfect—from the outside
A lil background (from me, not Lilliana):
This story began as a late-night thought while I was tossing on my couch. The names Lord Fremont and Lilliana popped into my head, and suddenly I was seeing flashes of scenes that I couldn’t ignore. I fell in love with the idea of filling in those blanks—and finally translating one of my weird stories onto paper.
I hope I can describe this world the way I see it in my head, because I seriously can’t wait to talk to someone else about it!
Anyways, I’m currently wrapping up the first draft!

I’ll be sharing updates here—character thoughts, story aesthetics, messy writing days, and maybe even the occasional dramatic Lilliana quote that didn’t make the final cut. If you like morally gray characters, slow-burn intensity, and layered storytelling, I think you’ll enjoy what’s coming.
Also, let me know what you think of the title formatting and author name—Andrea Rei? Andrea Lopez? Andrea Rei-Lopez? Ugh. Decisions.
Thanks for reading,
